Long Island's Erik Johnson he is just 19 year old had a unique experience with iphone 5C. according to Erick his iphone 5C convert into flame while it is in his paint pocket. and much pain in his body(Speaking with CBS News reporter)
He said he was in New Jersey with his cousin. His iPhone 5C which he had kept in his paint pocket busted and caused him burns legs.
“All I heard was a pop, and it started fizzling, and it just started to burn my leg,” Erick Said “It went to a pretty much instant burn, it didn’t even warm up; it just went to burn. And the only way I could get the phone away from me was to rip off my pants to get the phone out.” Erick.
According to hospital Erick had third-degree burns on his legs. and he spend 10 days in hospital to recuperating.
This is not just first time incident with iphone reported. Back in October, 2014, Phillips Lechter had claimed that the brand new iPhone 6 he bought had given him 2nd degree burns after bending in his pocket
