Hyderabad – The Glory of Sindh

Hyderabad city islocated in Sindh, Pakistan.It lies on the bank of River Indus and is one of the oldest cities of the sub-continent; founded by Glulam Shah Kalhoro in 1768. It remained the capital of Sindh under the reign of the Talpur rulers. Hyderabad is renowned for its archeological heritage, agricultural produce, handicraft industries, ornamental glass bangles, ornamented silks, and embroidered leather saddles.

Tombs of Talpur Mirs

The Tombs ofthe ruling Talpur Mirs of Sindh are situated close to Hirabad, located in the city of Hyderabad.The tombs containthe collection of belongings of the Talpurswho ruled the region from 1784 to 1843. All the tombs of the Talpurs are enclosed in a preserved area and promoted as a tourist attraction.

Rani Bagh

The Rani Bagh has a picturesque botanical and zoological gardenthat accommodates 53 acres of itslandscape. It was established in 1861 by the Agro-horticultural Society and later endued with 72 species of animals and 227 species of flora. Rani Bagh divides into four parts including an Eidgah, the Abbas Bhai Park, and children parks, jogging tracks and a parking area.

The Sindh Museum contains tremendous historical collections, preservations and bygone tracesthatare being showcased at the premises. The prominent features of the museum are the heritage of the Indus Valley Civilization, traditional portraits of the rulers of Sindh and also the sculptures that portray the life style of Sindhi People.
